Calf Chesty Cough

Calf has chesty/heavy cough developed over night. Can hear wheeze when breathing also. Temperature is fine and looks perfectly ok, eating fine too. Saw a bit of plywood has come loose from side of pen and calves were at it, don't think it'd be a wheezing sound if small piece was caught in throat?? Any thoughts??

Can you shine a torch down its throat to look for obstructions?

It's very hard to diagnose stuff over the interweb, probably best to get the vet to have a look.

Appreciate that but havent heard a deep cough like this before and wondering had anyone any experience with something stuck in a calfs throat and what are symptoms

Havent tried torch though, will do that. Didnt think u would be able to see far down the throat. ðŸ‘

Cant see qnything down throat, much better sounding today though, no coughing, small but of wheeze in breath when u listen closely. Strange one.

Goin to vet for injections later so will say it to him for his opinion anyway.
