How do these work, it's not clear from the charter. If I put up a wanted ad do I get any first dibs privileges on stuff that results from it, or can any early bird swoop in and offer asking on any replies to my want request?

It's not specified in the rules, but I think it's only fair that the person who posted the thread gets first refusal on items, for say 24 hours. Since it's not in the rules nobody would get carded for it, but I think that's the fairest way of doing it.
