Has anyone any experience with one of these?

I need to add something to my vinyl set-up. I realise it's more of a mobile unit, but I can pick one up for about €250. It seems to be a cost effective way of getting control over all of my WAVs. I messed about with various software set-ups in the past. So I've a lot of really good music that I want to make use of. I might continue buying the odd digital release, but generally speaking I'll be sticking to vinyl, so there's no point in spending big money on some CDJs (btw, I don't have big money to spend). I just wouldn't be getting the use out of them. But I'm still a little unsure about this. I'm not sure if I'd regret it.

If it was me, I'd use a laptop and a decent controller. Similar money but a more flexible set up. You can get decent controllers for well under €200 on the likes of Adverts.

Cheers, but I hate DJing with a laptop. The reason I bought my 1210s was because of how sick I was of Traktor and Ableton. So I've actually sold a lot of midi gear in recent months. I just didn't factor in how much I'd miss my collection of WAVs! Anyway, I was just looking at second hand CDJs there. I could pick up a pair of 400s for about €500. It's a fair bit over budget but they have everything I need.

Oh, sorry about that. Yeah, your sort of in a bind alright as the controllers would bridge the financial gap between software and hardware e.g. CDJs. To be honest, I'd stretch the budget and go from CDJs. Perhaps the CDJ350s? Not sure the going rate for them at the moment.
