So by that rationale Suarez is available.

So is Gerrard, Sturridge, Coutinho, Henderson, Allen, Sterling....

    So it's a bit of a half-baked statement.

Yes , I'd imagine they are all available if the right price was offered for them.

How dare any club get in the way of what Liverpool want.
Southampton are simply trying to get every last pound for their player, something I assume you'd like Liverpool to do if the shoe was on the other foot.
They're not in financial danger so worst case scenario, they have Lallana remain at the club next season.

They're simply playing hardball, as they should do imo

I'm more thinking of what Lallana wants. He has been loyal to them, they should do the decent thing and let him move to the next level, they are being offered BIG money for him.

I have no problem with clubs trying their best to hold onto their best players or getting the best price for them. Would you be happy if Liverpool accepted an offer for Suarez they felt undervalued him just because he wanted to leave? Same thing.

Lol, decent thing? Lose out on possibly 5m to give him his preferred move. He owes them a lot too. Works both ways.

30m for fabregas. Just forget about lallana and get Cesc. Wages maybe higher but well worth it.

Having to ultimately pay Bournemouth's fee is kinda annoying, but Southampton can do what they like, its their call. He's their star player.

Don't feel like he'd have the right attitude. With all the moaning he's done at Barca it seems like he sees himself as a bit of a Billy Big Bollocks.

Lallana has been at Southampton since a kid. Suarez has been Liverpool a few years.

Do you believe they think our offer of 25M is under valuing Lallana?

Business is business. Football is about the money these days!

It doesn't really work like that though. If you add wages onto the fee, a deal for Fabregas could be twice as costly as a deal for Lallana.

    Apparently they do.

    He did. A penalty.

    Ya, a penalty

A penalty, which was also rather poor.

Didn't see the game but heard he scored. A goal is a goal no?

I just find it funny that he still gets bashed when things aren't even his fault like getting picked over Negredo.

I'd say that's only to do with the 25% of the fee going to his old club which is quite a big chunk in fairness.

I don't see anyone suggesting that Southampton have rejected the bid. Surely the fact they haven't done so far suggests its getting serious consideration.

People are well aware that's not his fault, Its just a shocking decision is all.

Tbh it doesn't matter what we think.

If Southampton value the player higher they are entitled to hold out for more money or other interest appear.

As someone said earlier, it looks like they want him to put in a transfer request and they keep his 'loyalty' payment.

And that fee quoted is probably the max payable once add-ons are included so the initial fee is probably much lower

Gerrard is 34. Fabregas would shoulder a huge portion of his workload if he joined Liverpool. Be a smashing signing for £30M

Can barely contain his excitment while trying to be business like and not talk about any potential deal

He is not getting bashed because he is in the squad, he is getting bashed because he is a shadow of his former self and if ever there was an example of a player getting picked to play football, be it internationally or for a club, on their reputation then this is it. No way he should be going to the world cup based on form over the past few years and yet he is on the plane.

That's Lambert in to replace Xabi's beard at last. Just need Lallana with his own, and that fabled hair that hefferboi bangs on about, and we'll have the style we need to really push on.

Henderson got hair plugs! That's the rumour that was almost leaked on here.

@blogsaintsfc: Unconfirmed report that #saintsfc have accepted a £25m offer from Liverpool for Lallana. With a L'pool player also part of the deal.”

If it's Wisdom I will flip

25m AND a player? It had better be Aspas and nobody else.
