Welbeck hasn't been too bad, Rooney was awful. Sterling been a brightspark since he came on. Sterling could have a big WC

Sterling has been pretty poor since he came on, he was a bright spark for about 5 mins

Rooney poor enough but to be expected. Week beck did ok

Rooney worshipping forum is --->>>> way.
Yeah. I posted about him in a negative way. If you come on here expecting glowing reports about Rooney you'll be disappointed.

So as I said ---->>> way.

In fairness, if you bring up a negative about an opposition player be prepared for opposition fans to challenge you on it.....

it's no coincidence those 5/10 mins were when he was in the No 10 role playing off Sturridge

Possibly. He'll have to learn to do it were he.'a played if he wants to start England games, was fairly wasteful

Thought Lallana played well tonight. If we could sign him for 20m it would be a good deal.

apparently Lambert is taking a pay cut to sign for us

Apparently we've bid £25 million for him. Ridiculous opening offer.

Liverpool table a £25 million bid for Lallana.

A lot of cash but obviously Liverpool have identified him as someone who fits the team.

Good to see some movement, if 25m is what the owners want to pay to land a player that Rodgers clearly wants then so be it.

The opening offer was 20m. 25m is too much but Southampton want 30m because of a 25% sell on clause Bournemouth have.

David Maddock saying we hope to sign Moreno in the next week after Seville gave it the green light.

He is still pushing this Pedro thing oddly enough.

Does that figure include clauses though? £25m straight is a different kettle of fish to £15m and £5m appearances plus £5m trophies, say.

Media like a nice big rounded up figure to sell papers.

If true that better be a "this is our final offer, get back to us within 48 hours or you can take your chances in the market because we will have irreversibly moved on to other targets" type of bid.

    £25million?

Honestly I rate the guy and I'm on record on this forum as wanting him, but not at £25million.

£25million would more than likely land us a player like Sanchez, Pedro, Rakitic or even Di Maria.

He is obviously really highly rated by all concerned at Liverpool. They see something there that they are determined to acquire. It'll be interesting to see how he is used and how he performs, if Southampton do eventually let him go.

Liverpool seems to be the only team trying to get their business done early

Lallana, Lambert, Can and Moreno looks like it'll cost you at least €65-70 million

I think the team still needs a right back and a centre back as well, how much is Rodgers going to be allowed spend?

I'll refer you to this post
You'd have half the player in the Liverpool set up though - Turan who I love would be a left winger and that's it - Lallana will be able to play four positions. Either wing or a No 10 in a 4-2-3-1, at the head of a diamond 4-4-2 or as one of the flanking two in that diamond.

Also it could be that Liverpool will buy a wide man if the Pedro angle is still alive - get Lallana, swerve Shaqiri, buy Pedro.

Looks like Rodgers has alot more input into signings this summer. I think that Konoplyanka was a commitee signing which is why it seems we are not back in for him which is a mistake.

Is Pedro decent? I remember seeing him play for Barca a few years ago and I haven't heard much since. And I hate Barca so I never watch them:P
