A summer, Sevilla will make box and good by several of his players. History turns to repeat with the pearls of the road from Utrera. As it has been able to know mark, the Seville has received an offer of 20 million euros, over the transfer of the Cadiz Suso, Liverpool by Alberto Moreno. This important proposal makes the lad of the Cerro del Águila have foot and a half at Anfield, since Sevilla see with good eyes the operation. Almost everyone assumed at the club that Alberto would abandon the entity at end of season, but supply exceeds the most optimistic claims.

Looks likely that Suso won't be a Liverpool player nest season with all the talk that has came out since Xmas.
Has anyone been watching him much on loan in Spain? If he leaves could it be a decision that the club may be left ruing down the line?

Marca are reporting €20million for Moreno to Liverpoo plus a loan deal to Sevilla for Suso

Yep. Haven't a clue what any of that meant but it was a damn good read nonetheless.

Just looking up a few YouTube vids there to see about this Moreno chap - have't seen much of him before. Watched one showing his involvement against Barca, and all I could think of was how good a player Alexis Sanchez is.
    Any news on his availability?

Barca president today was quoted as saying that Sanchez is not for sale and is a key member of the squad.

Moreno is quality. Be a super signing.

Again, I don't believe anything on twatter or tabloid.

Didn't someone say Lallana deal was done a few days ago? Surely that'd be out by now if true... Lol clowns

So the talk is that we've offered €20 + Suso for Moreno

While I'd like to have seen Suso be part of the squad next season, it's clear he wants regular first team football, and we can't guarantee it. Hopefully there's a first buy option or sell on clause for Suso.. assuming there's any truth to the Moreno deal.

He's no Shelvey so we wont regret it too much.

Also welcome to Liverpool Chino Moreno.

That would be a great deal for us, suso needs to be playing at a higher level than he was this season.

Is Moreno a good signing then at that price?

I don't know a lot about him, but to be in the Spain squad at that young age would suggest he's a talent

Swansea sign Fabianski so that's Vorm definitely going imo.

It's either to us or Cardiff to replace Marshall, but either way one keeper ending up at Liverpool.

    Let the merry-go-round begin.

Another one to add to the list
    http://www.squawka.com/news/liverpool-and-arsenal-to-do-battle-for-argentina-star-marcos-rojo/116166
Liverpool and Arsenal are battling for Argentina’s star defender Marcos Rojo, who has been heavily linked with a move away from current side Sporting Lisbon.

Rojo has attracted the attention of plenty of suitors after some fine performances for the Portuguese side this season and the 24-year-old was included in Argentina’s talented World Cup squad.

Rojo, 24, helped Sporting secure second-place in the Portuguese club and Argentina manager Alejandro Sabella took notice of the defenders fine displays.

According to the Express, Rojo is the subject of interest from many clubs, however, Liverpool and Arsenal are to make a move first for the talent. Rojo can play centre-back or left-back and he will be a fine acquisition to solve Liverpool’s growing defensive problems.

The Reds conceded 50 Premier League goals this season and Brendan Rodgers is keen to solve those issues.

Rojo joined Sporting Lisbon for £3.5million from Russian side Spartak Moscow in 2012, but after his displays this season it is highly likely the Argentinian will be offloaded for much more.

Arsenal are also keen to recruit Rojo as competition for Gibbs and Monreal, as well as providing back-up for Per Mertesacker and Laurent Kosicelny.

Do you think Vorm or Marshall would come to be second choice? I am not so sure...

I reckon they would both think they'd have a chance of ousting Mignolet if given a fair chance.

I reckon Swansea would be loathe to sell to Cardiff really similar to Liverpool/Everton transfers.

Moreno in with Suso going the other way on loan is interesting. Would have expected Suso to be brought back to bulk up the attacking areas of the squad. They must feel that they will have other incomings for that area

so What's happening with Reina and How long has he left on his contract?

But in really, they won't start on an equal footing. And every time Migs makes an error, there will be a clambour to replace him. I don't know if it improves us. It worked at United with Lindegard and De Gea, the latter picked up his game in the face of competition, but he was a young keeper and had some maturing to do anyway...

Reina's career with us was finished last Summer when he started playing silly buggers with us to try and secure a move to Barca. If that closed the door 99% of the way, then his letter to Liverpool fans put the final nail in the coffin.
    Rodgers wrote:
He’s already written his (goodbye) letter hasn't he? I was surprised at the letter when you are a loan player so I would suspect that he should come back.

But Pepe made it very clear when he went to Napoli he was looking to move, as he penned a great big letter saying he was going to work with the best manager that he’d worked with and thanked for his time for Liverpool. So for me it probably sounded like he’d made his decision there.
Great player in his prime for us, but it's pointless speculating his future as it doesn't lie with us.

maybe I am looking into this too much but I think there has been a bit of a power shift at the club since Rodgers new contract announced, and the rumoured talk of him wanting more control of transfers seems maybe now to have occurred.

    (eg)
take this article from the club today about Rodgers 'transfer meeting and committee' terminology and language I have not read before from the club.
Brendan Rodgers will exhaust every possible avenue in the transfer market this summer to ensure Liverpool build on their second-place finish in the Barclays Premier League last season.

The manager, his recruitment team and staff switched their thoughts to the next stage of squad development almost immediately following the conclusion of the 2013-14 campaign.
Mere hours had passed since the final whistle on May 11, when the Reds signed off with a 2-1 victory over Newcastle United at Anfield, before Melwood became a hive of forward thinking.
"We are really preparing for next season," Rodgers, who penned a new, long-term contract with the club on Monday, explained to the Liverpool Echo.
"I've had some very good meetings with our recruitment team. We are very much together as one. We work very closely together - it's worth stressing that. It's key that we are very much one club."
The Northern Irishman continued: "It's always about the availability of players. If you are not satisfied with the squad and you feel you can improve it then you have to look at every option.
"In these first couple of years I've been here we have had to do that as we've had a thin squad. We turn the page and it's another chapter in terms of where we are going.
"Hopefully that will mean it will be more permanent players than loan players but I can never rule it out completely. There could be a situation where a player becomes available, we can get him and he can add to what we're doing."

One that has been overlooked somewhat (with all the clamour about Rossiter, McLoughlin and Teix), I see that Lloyd Jones has started the last 2 England U19 games, along with Ibe. Jones played for Wales a U17, so they only got his clearance to switch, and he is in the side.

He's a monster of a kid, 6'3" at 18 years of age and already filled out more than the likes of Kelly was at that age. He has been a mainstay of the U21s, made 20 starts last season, usually alongside Paez. We did concede a few last season, but our midfield isn't very good at protecting the two big CBs. He could save us a lot of money in a couple of years...
