Anyway when goods were delivered there was no paperwork to indicate that customs had been charged…

Got gift of vouchers that can only be used on amazon.com ( us $ ), I have made two orders & received goods but they take a 'deposit' for import duties that may be due. Anyway when goods were delivered there was no paperwork to indicate that customs had been charged etc. By their t & c you have to wait 60 days for any refund that is due, this has now passed & I have been refunded approx. $2 out of almost 70.
Does anyone know if there is a way of opting out of this deposit & pay any dues this end?
Still waiting for amazon to get back me re this.
