Hi, I am sorry if this is a repeat thread but couldnt find a specific answer anywhere.

My question is about a tank feed connection to a t90 shower. Do I have to add a new feed from the tank in the attic or can I simply take a feed from the existing cold pipe below the bath.

ie. cut the cold and add a T joint followed by an isolation valve and non return then up to the shower with qualpex.

I have an electrician to do the other side of things.

You need an independant feed from the tank . Apart from anything else , failing to do this invalidates the warranty on your shower

OK, thats no problem. I pressume a connection to the bottom of tank then run qualpex down to shower is ok. Whats the name of the 1/2 inch fitting for the tank?

    Thanks for your reply

It's a half inch tank connector . Remember it's an English connection to shower so make sure you have a spare irish nut and ring .
