steps in getting a drivers licence

    am currently getting lessons with my learners permit have 4 done already and i know i need to get 12 in total.Whats after that?
    When do i take the test is there any period of time i have wait in order to take the test as my learners permit expires 14 months from now.So really what are alll the steps to getting a full drivers licence and the time i have to get each step.
    The steps i know and done so far are:
    1.Theory test
    2.Learners Permit
    3.12 Lessons
    4.???

    After you get your provisional licence you have to wait 6 months. You also need 12 lessons done with an EDT approved instructor. Then you can apply for your driving test and when you pass that you get a certificate which you exchange for your licence.

    So it's
    1. Theory test
    2. Learners permit
    3. 12 lessons
    4. Driving test
    5. Full licence

    thanks but another question how log does it take to find out if i passed or failed and say theoretically i fail my driver test d i have to wait a specified amount of time to redo the test or can i arrange fr another one straight away

    You will find out if you passed or failed about 2 minutes after the test. If you fail, just call and arrange whenever they have a time available / whenever it suits you.
