CD Player Problem

Ok so today I was using my stereo all day no problems. Then all of a sudden after turning off the car I tried to turn in back on but it just flashed on then straight off. I have checked the fuse and it's working, I also changed the fuse. I also disconnected the back cables from radio to car and tried reconnecting them but still nothing. Anyone have any ideas what might be wrong?
It's a silvercrest CD player if that helps?

Possibly fault inside front facia or with connection of face to main body of radio. I repair stereos and would consider this brand to be rubbish. My advice is to get rid of it.

I think that might be it then because I was cleaning the car yesterday and I think some son of a gun dripped onto it. I know it's not the best make but it does me for what I need. I'll just have to get a new one then thanks.

Maybe try cleaning the contacts with alcohol or something?

Gave that a try but no luck. Just have to get a new CD player. Think it's well overdue anyway
