Hi folks i managed to crack the glass hob on my Belling so i need to replace it. Has anyone any idea where i could get a replacement.

I know people seem to go through their house insurance for the cost but the thing is we are renting the house so im not too sure what to do about it. We are renting off the girlfriends aunt and the rent is really low so i dont want to be hassling her considering she is very good with the rent we pay. I can replace it myself i just need to find one. I tried the Belling website but there is no prices on it.

Id be grateful of a point in the right direction :)

Where did you get the model no from? was it off the inside of the oven door ?
That model is for a built in oven not a hob - you will have to lift the hob to get the model no from it and manufacturer but normally hob glasses arent wort replacing!!

Yeah it was from the inside of the door the oven I had a check on the belling website it's seems it would cost around 300 - 400 for a replacement.

In the meantime iv sealed the glass back together with heat resistant glazing sealant/adhesive and it's working perfectly fine. It will do for the moment. :)
