Anyone know what insurance would be like on an 04 golf 1.9 (110) VAN for 17 yo with provisional on parents policy?

No one can say for sure, but ring around a few brokers as I'd imagine the online quotes will crap themselves trying to do it.

Best way to find out would be to ring the insurer, and have to hand as many details as possible about the vehicle, potential mileage, and probably your parents' policy number.

Most insurance won't touch young drivers on a commercial policy.

I think you'd be lucky to get anything under €3000 but ring as many places as you can for a quote.

I have a genuine reason for a commercial policy so I'll call around

Your genuine reason for a commercial policy, at your age, would need to be an occupation rather than an activity

I have pigs and sheep so need a van for food and fencing bits.
