May Day Parade -- Seattle

    I always thought of May Day as being a happy celebration. People go out and dance, eat, and drink. But here in Seattle (yeah, the US), May Day has evolved into an opportunity for anarchists to go crazy.

    Right now, the riot police are moving into downtown Seattle. It's just now getting dark. They are using gas to disperse the crowds.

    I'm assuming that there are May Day events in Ireland. Hopefully they didn't get this crazy.

    They're wasters with nothing better to do. If they actually put their efforts into being constructive they could really change things and not just ruin things
    There were also leaflets and graffiti promoting killing cops - disgusting

    We have a similar day here to mayday it's called St Patricks day. People of nuts on the street :-)
