Jeremy Clarkson in trouble - N word.

It seems Jezzer has sparked a furory over his alleged use of the "N" word while attempting to choose between two cars - eeny, meeny, miney mo etc etc.

Is that racism? Or just the repetition of a rhyme so widely used at one time that is is almost ingrained in the subconscious minds of older people? The Mirror says it is racist, I'm not sure uttering a word makes you racist, that's more a way of life than a choice of words. I've also listen to a lot of songs that use the word over and over and over - are they racists? I'll admit to being a Clarkson fan btw, and this being an over-reaction IMO..

People are so sensitive. It's not racist at all. It's just a stupid rhyme

It is not racism as he didn't say it in an insulting way or direct it at anybody.

Doesn't make him any less of a tosser though.

Bad enough that he may of said it once.

But now it looks like he's done it again.

If he keeps this up we'll be overwhelmed with Clarkson threads. ;)

I don't consider it racist in that context, but its a pretty f*cking dumb and offensive word to use.

But then again we're talking about a pretty f*cking dumb and offensive wanker anyway.

If he does it a third time we'll be overwhelmed with Clarkson threads. ;)

In the proud tradition of Top Gear everything gets repeated.

If this is what the media is losing it's shít over, it's pretty much grasping at straws.

You to ask why it didn't make the editing room floor. Surely there was a ton of producers on set and a ton of editors later on in production. Why didn't they cut it? I know free speech etc. But there has to be a set of rules on what can and can't be said by a BBC employee
