Hey guys as per my title im looking to start cycling.
My initial plan as ive missed the bike to work scheme in work was to buy a cheap 2nd bike at around 300 and then upgrade if i like cycling when the bike to work opens up in work again.

Anyway i went to my local bike shop and he has a lovely bmc sl 105 like new there for around 800 euro.
I took it for a spin and i really liked it. The only thing is it has a xl frame.
Im 6ft 2" and the guy said its ok for me. Hed just lower the saddle a little and fit a shorter stem to it.

It felt good riding it just wondering should i get a smaller frame?

Looks a bargain for the price especially if he is throwing in a few after sale benefits and a limited warranty.

Ya I'm very happy with it. The lad I dealt with in Outdoor Escape was very helpful indeed which also helped with my decision I'd gone to a few other shops around Dublin and didn't get the same level of service!
