Irish Church and the Freemasons/Communists

Hi all,

I recently finished reading the book "AA-1025 Memoirs of Communist Infiltration Into the Church" , which describes how the Soviets had a sinister plan of infiltrating and damaging the Church from within. If one looks at the Alta Vendita, it appears the Freemasons have a similar plan. One of Fr. Malachi Martin's (he was Irish btw) books describes how many of them had already installed themselves in the Church before the Second Vatican Council and how reforms based on Masonic teachings were implemented. The main suspect , Cardinal Bunigni, was later "relocated" to Iran as he allegedly came out as a Freemason. Bella Dodd, a member of Communist Party USA in the 1930s, even describes how the two groups , Masons and Communists, collaborated! Now my question is, does anyone have any inklings of information about this phenomenon occurring in Ireland? Or where would be a good place to start the research on this topic?

First, I'd not be aware of any such in regards to the Church in Ireland. Offhand at least for Freemasons, I've never come across any infiltrations in my readings. However in a wider context over the past century there have been numerous attempts by totalitarian regimes to inflitrate and subvert Christian institutions. I'd recommend the the books of Michael Burleigh, 'Sacred Causes' as well as the recent 'Last man in Russia' by Oliver Bullough which amongst other topics covered, includes how the Orthodox Church was targetted during the Soviet era.

Douglas Hyde revealed long ago that in the 1930s the Communist leadership issued a worldwide directive about infiltrating the Catholic Church.

While in the early 1950s in America, Mrs Bella Dodd was also providing detailed explanations of the Communist subversion of the Church. Speaking as a former high ranking official of the American Communist Party, Mrs Dodd said: “In the 1930s we put eleven hundred men into the priesthood in order to destroy the Church from within.” The idea was for these men to be ordained and progress to positions of influence and authority as Monsignors and Bishops. A dozen years before Vatican II she stated that: “Right now they are in the highest places in the Church” - where they were working to bring about change in order to weaken the Church's effectiveness against Communism. She also said that these changes would be so drastic that “you will not recognise the Catholic Church.”

Mrs Dodd, who converted to the Faith at the end of her life, was personally acquainted with this diabolic project since, as a Communist agent, part of her brief was to encourage young radicals (not always card-carrying Communists) to enter Catholic seminaries. She alone had encouraged nearly 1,000 such youngsters to infiltrate the seminaries and religious orders!

I'm not so sure about the Catholic church, but I know Islam was deliberately loaded with extremists in the 1970s and 1980s by the West and Saudi Arabia to fight the Russians. They were called the Mujahedid and later on became al Qaeda and Taliban. A Western/Saudi/CIA creation designed to cause trouble for Russia. These merely became enemies of the West only when the West stopped giving them funds! Hence 9/11.

Also, I am aware that certain priests in Iran were also secretly working for the West to undermine Islam there to make it considered repressive and unpopular and revolting to the Russians. Ayatollah Khamenei, the current Shah, being one of many from 1979 to date. Also, lay preacher and former president Ahmadinejad (too like Saddam to be real) was a setup. Everyone would be saying 'how can this be! Isn't Iran a sworn enemy of US, Israel and zionism/masonism'? Well, was it ever bombed by the West? NO! After 5 years of becoming so, a REAL enemy of the West and Israel does not exist period - let alone one existing since 1979!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I guess, if the West can infiltrate Islam and help create murderous extremists and a frankenstein's monster then Russia could do the same and infiltrate Catholicism and try to turn it into a communist force.

Funny you should mention Iran as well as that was part of the opposite side of infiltrating churches: Iran's 'Islamic Republic' regime is a Western colonial excercise designed to undermine both Russian expansion and Iranian advancement. The West had lots of undercover priests like Ayatollahs Khomeini and Khamenei set up as future Shahs and working out of France in the 1970s to take over in the 1980s. Their job? To make Islam unpopular, frightening and repressive; to foment trouble on the Russian border; to keep Iran poor and to turn Iran into Saudi Arabia (a similar Western creation).

So, was cardinal (ayatollah is the Persian translation by the way of such priests high up) Bugnini part of this too? Was there a complete plot to break down all religions and this even transcend US v USSR rivalries that merely were used to set one side off against the other to help take down ALL religions from within? Islam by the way is a derivative of Christianity that believes in Jesus as a prophet! Both have their moderate and radical versions.
