Hi All,

My S3 Mini is overheating lately, even discharging the battery when turned off, so long as the battery is inside it.

I realise this could be a battery issue, but it seems to be the screen of the phone that's burning hot, rather than the battery.

I would like to hard-reset it to see if that helps the issue at all. This worked when I had battery drain issues with a Tab 2.0 a while ago. When I attempt to use the method described by all of those helpful YouTube videos, the android man doesn't appear - it simply boots up like it always does - with the Three Mobile splash screen.

Is this a Three Mobile Firmware issue? Can the phone be hard-reset?
