Tentatively in depending on the timing of the race and what the rules are if you have to leave your cart to pop a soother back in the baba's mouth. (alas, the controller range does not stretch to trips upstairs )

Did Wii MK have the mammoth all tracks GP? Loved that on the Cube version but not sure I can reasonably expect to see it again

Don't think the Wii kart had it and I was very disappointed with the game because of that.
Makes it very difficult to get into a groove on mulitplayer.
I miss random selection on all the tracks in the all tracks GP.
I also miss the doubling up of characters from double dash as well.
Actually I'm going to fire up Double Dash now.

I don't normally hop on the hype train for games but I've made an exception for Mario Kart How about Sunday night around 9pm for races? Give people a few days to have a pop at it first

Agreed, next weekend happens to also be Forbidden Fruit weekend, so maybe a few from here are going to that on the Sat &/or Sunday, I'm doing Sunday.

Maybe set up a night during the week also? Like a Wednesday night or something?

surely your going to the midnight launch! Ha ha I'd very much doubt you'll have and shortage of a wii u game although better safe than sorry.
I'm in a bit of a predicament, I bought super mario kart on the wii u virtual console and I'm now entitles to 8 euro or whatever it cost discount off the digital version. I'd doubt I'd ever sell it if I bought physical and I buy all order forms of media digitally but I'd really like the physical version of this for some reason.

Koopa every time (Red / Para where possible). The fights we would have to get him....
Also, Koopa + Diddy Kong rocked in Double Dash. Perfect balance of offensive capability to take first and defensive to hold it.

Great to see the hype hotting up here.

I used to play as Wario in the N64 version which is pretty much the last Mario Kart I gave a lot of time to. Played the one on the DS and Gameboy advance but the N64 one as ropey as the controls were will always be my favourite just down to having mates over etc..

So yeah I'll try as Wario first but to be honest i don't think itll matter who i pick as i wont be able to put in the hours to become decent with the whole having a wife and child and all that lark. Will still be fun trying not to come last. Lol
