Wildlife amidst the dead...

I spent the morning strolling around Glasnevin Cemetary. What a place for wildlife! I saw a kestrel, sparrowhawk, buzzards, a heron and all the finches! Plenty of birdlife. I had a close encounter with a fox too :) There was an angry jay as well, giving out to a gang of magpies.... I can recommend the place for an…

I had a close encounter with a fox too There was an angry jay as well, giving out to a gang of magpies.... I can recommend the place for an interesting day out.

Plenty of grey squirrels there too.

I then took a walk along the Tolka, and saw the electric blue streak of a kingfisher.
