From LNB to Sat Box, what is the recommended length of this cable before degradaton of satellite signal?

Bought a 25M roll today, just wondering should I take the easy route (outside and over the roof = 15 Mts) or should I take the inside route and use the full 25Mtr roll?

Is 25Mts (of this cable) OK to retain full signal strength?

    RG6 Hight Performance 2.25GHZ Digital Cable 0 35M.

usually up to 30 meters should be ok, make sure you have best signal at the dish.

Could you not roll out the whole 25m and test it from Satellite to Receiver and make sure the signal strength is sufficient?

Not possible as there is no electricity currently on site, and when the electricity is turned back on the cables will be buried in the ceilings. The previous poster says about 30 Mts, so that sounds good, hopefully . . .

    Thanks.

25 metres should be fine, unless the cable is pure dirt altogether. For peace of mind, if the installed cable will later be inaccessible, you'd be better off with branded cable like Webro or Triax, preferably '100' type rather than 'RG6'.

No cable will retain 'full signal' but it's best to minimise losses, within reason of course. And better quality cable will minimise interference ingress too.
