Young lesbian?? Help?

Hi so I'm 17 and I've recently come to terms with my sexuality but I don't know how or where to meet other lesbians? I've never met a lesbian (that I know of) or been with another girl and I've tried dating sites but its just awkward and complicated. Where can you meet other LGBT people around my age in south Dublin or city centre?

Dating sites are pretty much entirely 18+ so I would recommend NOT using them.

Welcome to the fold!

Like MYOB said, your best bet is to hook in with BelongTo. They are a youth group for people aged 13-24 I think, and have both mixed groups and a female only group (called the Ladybirds, if I remember correctly). They're really great, I wish they'd been around when I was your age!

I've heard of the ladybirds but they haven't updated they're site since like last summer and I wasn't sure if it was still on or whatever...? Thanks for the reply

Oh, maybe it isn't. YOu should still contact BelongTo though, they'e brilliant even if there's no specific female only group any more.
