Problems with Adamstown & Park West stations and water?

I posted about something similar before, but today I was in Adamstown station and (for the first time) Park West.

Last time I was in Adamstown it was raining and there was water dripping down the walls inside the station building and pools of water on the floors inside. I noticed Park West has signs of something similar going on: rust on a lot of metalwork inside the station, including on a stainless steel handrail that I didn't think could rust.

Today I noticed "hoods" on the automatic barriers inside both stations. I haven't seen these before, and I haven't seen them anywhere else. They look like rain jackets designed for the machines.

Are there design problems with these stations that promote water ingress? I don't understand how they can have such big rooves but so much water inside.

Also quite a lot of the external cladding has come off the back of one of the three buildings in PW. Not sure if that's related.

Only been in park west once a long while back. I recall it being very exposed and open. Doesnt matter too much how big the roof is, if it isnt closed off.

Kind of surprised at the lack of responses to this thread. Not that many people using those stations I guess.

Park West is in the middle of an under used business estate. So there wouldn't be much demand for it around there. Overall Buses are better for getting to town from any residential areas near either of'em. I'd expect that line to have more passengers from outside of Dublin commuting on it.
