LCD TV Dead...

Folks, firstly apologies if this is not the right forum but I've tried looking and cannot locate anything more appropriate.

Last week my LG 32inch TV stopped working - completely dead but plug fuse is fine so has to be something internal. The only thing that was happening is that I had inserted a USB stick to the Triax (TSC114 I think) Combination box that was connected to the TV. Both the triax box and TV were on standby at the time.

Would it be possible that this action caused something to "blow" in the TV or is it more likely that TV's time was up???

More than likely the tv has had its time tbh.
