    Hi guys

Hoping you could give me a bit of insight into this...I'm currently working as a
Team lead (2 years experience responsible for salary reviews, performance rating, disciplinary, managing sick/holiday leave ) in a large multinational company...over the past few months I've become disinterested in people management and have become more drawn to the HR side of things....

How easy would it be for me to transition into a HR role? Would I need to start at entry level??

You would probably (but not definitely) need a CIPD-type qualification. Usually a Level 8 (Hons degree) course, but there are some L7's around also.

If your current employer had a vacancy, and you were deemed suitable, they may well allow you to study part-time in order to gain the qualifications needed.
