Job Seekers When I've Had To Leave A Job

Hi guys I'd really appreciate some advice on this, I moved to Ireland in 14 months ago and have been in full Time employment since I arrived.

Unfortunately I have had to leave my job as a sales manager as I was in an abusive relationship and had to leave my apartment and could no longer commute to work as I am now living rent free with a friends family in a rural location 2 hours away from the store.

I did not leave my job lightly but I was in fear for myself and my staff of my ex and his friends coming in.

I have lived in Ireland for 5 years previously and again I worked full time and never claimed any benefits either here or in the UK where I'm from, I have no connections in the UK and will be remaining in Ireland permanently.

I want to know what chance have of been able to claim Job seekers as did leave my job?

I intend to use the money to learn to drive so can apply for field sales roles so I really need it!
I would appreciate any help on this. Thanks.
