    No. If he would actually engage properly and listen maybe. As it stands he's more like the minister for "Dismantling for the sake of it & Soundbites"

    I liked the fact that he wanted to bring changes to the system, at first I thought that this could only be a good thing, but I was wrong. He's not listening to teachers and engaging with them. It's a pity.

    This is exactly my thought process. I initially thought great some change. Now I just think he's a procrastinator on religion and a bully in other areas.

    He has actually done NOTHING of any use on religion, book costs etc. Have lost ANY respect I have had for the DES since he took over.

    Ministers come and go though.
    I'd worry more about what has happened senior people in the DES - people who you would hope have a bit of experience in the Department and hopefully thus a bit of cop-on - have they all retired, or are they just being ignored?
