Are we talking full helicopter action? Because that isn't acceptable in public. Neither is flicking the tallywhacker.

Shoving a hand down the front of your tracksuit bottoms and adjusting yourself appears to have become acceptable amongst the type of scrote who wears a baseball hat and spits on the ground every 30 seconds. The North Strand is a good place to go and watch them in their native habitat.

I think it's like ribbon or carpet, the plural can be the same as the singular if it's all attached together. A length of penis doesn't become penises until it's separated from the roll. Hence the term 'to give someone a length'.

Jim, I'd suggest that discretely moving behind a potted plant or door to quickly adjust and reposition Herman the One-Eyed German isn't the same as stuffing your hand down the front of your trousers to feel your flute while standing at the Spire in O'Connell Street.

Well the intent is probably the same, but those of us with a little breeding cultivate the habit of carrying a large potted-plant (a nice healthy Yucca is highly recommended) while perambulating on the promenade in case such an emergency arises and a door is tragically unavailable. It's just another symptom of the loss of the Empire.
