sky hard drive

Just wondering could I take the hard drive that's in a sky HD box and put it in a laptop.The hard drive in sky box is 500gb so I wouldn't mind putting that in the laptop or my ps3. Haven't fully decided which .

I've the hard drive out but its size is 3.5 and I think my laptop and ps3 can only take the 2.5 size. I think my best bet is to buy an external enclosure and use it for my movies and that.

3.5 inch are for desktops and 2.5 inch hard drives are for laptops.

Your best bet is to get an external hard drive really.
