Mini (old/calssic) rental

    Hello,

I wonder if anyone can advise of anywhere (or indeed if you know of anyone) who rent old/classic minis? Preferably in the west

I had an old mini when I was younger, she was my first car and I loved her dearly! It was a little bottle green 1990 Rover Mini, but I digress.

I am now getting married and would really love to go to the ceremony, in my veil and dress, through the streets of my hometown, with my dad, in an old/classic Mini (i.e. not a new BMW MINI). He is a real car enthusiast and used be involved in Rallying back in the day. So it would be really special for both of us.

To be honest, in an ideal world, I would rent two. One for my dad to drive me in, one for my bridesmaid and bridesman to drive themselves in.

I would really only want them to get about one mile down the road (Galway City Centre), to get us to the ceremony. It would only take 10 minutes! Both drivers could, if possible, transfer their insurance over...

Any advise on achieving this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance guys

Just be aware though, you'll find it very hard to get someone to allow you drive their car. Most classic owners are cautious about people even looking at their cars, let alone driving them!
