Hey so I'm like nearly 12 stone and I'm just about five foot so I seriously need to lose weight but I'm so scared that when I do that I'm gonna be left with a load of excess skin. Can any of ye recommend any exerises that can tighten up muscles so that this won't happen? Cheers :)

Tightening muscles wont really tighten skin, but it does improve the look of the body underneath that skin. I think how well your body adapts to lost weight will depend on your age, skin elasticity, and the speed you lose the weight. I reckon if you lose it sensibly, and moderately, with a smart diet and good training programme, its your best chance to look good at the end of it all.

To develop muscle, you will need to do weight bearing exercise. This can be bodyweight exercises such as pressups, pullups planks, or using weights, which ideally you should learn from an instructor so you have correct form.
