    Hi,
We were told today that our 1990 reg westfalia camper van needs an entire new exhaust. We are based in Leitrim, They recommended Mulmuff in Tubbercurry on Sligo and GT exhausts in Enniskillen. We have a really small budget so just looking for people's advice on where the best value maybe, all advice/tips really appreciated!
    Thanks in advance

is your westfalia based on a VW transporter? if so, and your budget is small, ring a few breakers yards and look a good secondhand. price a new system first so you know if its worthwhile going secondhand. if you are capable of fitting it yourself, great. If not, budget getting a local lad to do it. I would be reluctant to pay a breaker more then 30 or 40 euro for the whole lot.
If you let us know the model of Westfalia, and the machine it is built on, some one here could have, or know of, a system for sale.

Can't help you with location I'm based in Dublin. Got a full system for my 91 hiace camper made by souhan's in trim Co meath for 390. Stainless pipes and coated boxes. Thought it was good value as it's a jap import and getting factory one would have been much more.

    Good luck with the search

Thanks for the advice, we have absolutely zero mechanical ability so trying to put something on ourselves would be disaster! I'm going to check with those few places and see what they say, 390 for a full system does seem like good value,do you mean the exhaust system is stainless steel in that it will last for a very long time? Garage guy recommended stainless steel of you can afford it to save replacing exhaust every few years

Complete t25 exhaust delivered from Germany is about 80 quid when we had one.

OP, is the engine in the front or the back of the camper?

The pipes are stainless and the boxes are mild steel coated to stop them rusting
