I am looking for a new frame mainly for hacking about but when in Halfords today I came across the Velos, down to 295 euros, as this was pretty much the budget I had in mind for a frame, anyone have any thoughts or comments about it, up to this the other option I had in mind was a raleigh frame on chainreaction that was well under budget. I have a full ultegra 6600 groupset that I was going to use on the new build but am now wondering what would be the best choice. Also, open to any suggestions as regards where to get a frame in the budget I have. Cheers, thanks for any help comments advice in advance.

Hey, I bought one of these last week. I'm a complete newbie to cycling & only cycle to/from work (less than 20km a day). Not sure if my opinion will help much but I really like it, it's pretty light (much lighter than the mountain bike I had been using for a few weeks) & I've been enjoying cycling it. Seems like a good bike for the price.

Great bike for the price I use one for spins in bad weather, you will go a long way to find a better bike for that price
