I suffer from Anxiety with years, I am in my 30's and have gone to counselling etc to deal with it, I am fine for the majority of the time but sometimes I do suffer from nights or days with anxiety. I am learning to deal with it but am wondering do people find Acupuncture good or Yoga or alternative exercises like that? I try to have Camomile tea etc and I do find it help but I am very open to suggestions for natural supplements or what you might us to help yourself.

    Thanks X

Magnesium is supposed to be good for anxiety. Try taking 400mg or so before bed for a week. Helps you get to sleep as well.

I don't really know if its what you're looking for, but I found running really helpful, it helps burn off the excess energy that would be used up by the anxiety, then I'm too tired to feel anxious, and I'm on a high from the run too.

Limit anxiety triggering things like caffeine, alcohol etc. Acupuncture/yoga/massage and any exercises all would help you feel more relaxed. You more than likely know things that trigger the anxiety whether it is stress etc so do your utmost to eliminate any areas of stress and keep your diet clean and full of nutritious food. On days that you are feeling anxious don't be afraid to whack in 2 tea bags of camomile tea, it really does help.

Mindfulness is a wonderful anti-anxiety tool. Mark Williams has written an extremely practical book on Mindfulness techniques and there's also guided Mindfulness sessions on youtube, some as short as 3 minutes so you can easily fit them into your day.
