What happens in a race if a rider has a 1.30min advantage over peleton and a spectator comes out of nowhere and pushes the leading rider off the bike? Saw it on youtube recently. Can another spectator give the fallen rider a push on again to get him up and running? Surely in the circumstances?

Technically a rider can be fined 20 CHF (oooh) for being pushed by a spectator but given that he gained no net advantage, was being pushed mostly by the same idiot who knocked him off, and would have won the stage either way, it was a total non-issue.
