    I bought this in a store in Germany, the previous owner must have painted it. I am going to chalk paint it but before I do I wanted to check its not valuable. Any ideas on it heritage?

    I'm not any sort of an expert but it doesn't look very old or very valuable to me.

    Looking at the hinges and the screws used on them might give you an indication of age.

    Why are the pictures stretched to almost double the size. ?
