Ortlieb repair?

    Hey all,

After a dozen or countries and a whole lot more commuting than I really want to think about one of my ortlieb panniers has developed a hole. It's only a pin-prick kind of thing so nothing's falling out and they're still rain proof. However, I've a bit of way-off-the-beaten-track touring planned for next year and there might be a bit of river crossing and that sort of thing involved so I'd like to have them properly ship-shape and air-tight if possible.

Does anyone have any experience patching ortliebs? Do you think those patch kits for tents would work? Or any other suggestions?

Duck tape, inside and out. Bring some spare also, has all kinds of uses.

Contact them directly. Have a friend who says they are the best customer support he's ever used. I bought my Ortliebs based on his recommendations and his positive experience with their aftersales, out of warranty support.

You can always patch them up as mentioned above!
