LV cup

    The current participation agreement for the LV cup ends at the end of the 14/15 season.

    There are rumours that the RFU might prefer to play Irish teams rather than Welsh teams in their third tier tournament.

    Would we want to get involved, imo it would be a better tournament to give fringe players a run than the B&I cup.

    Of course, when the HC was being dismantled I suggested that our A teams be involved in such a competition & was derided.
    But it makes perfect sense. Better level of opposition, tv monies & the opportunity for a few players to come thru against better opposition
