experia z1 problem

    Any help and info appreciated here, got a z1 about 2 months ago and this problem has happened on about 4 occasions. When it's in standby the screen doesn't turn off. There's still a glow from it. It can also turn itself off by itself and the phone gets very hot. I've pressed the off button that's in the Sim card slot and turned it back on but nothing has changed. I've turned it off by the normal off button and left it for a few hours but same thing happened when I turned it back on. Also when its actng like this the phone chews through the battery life. I'm overseas atm and won't be back home till end of next month so can't just bring it back to the shop........ yet lol. When it happened before it just came back right after about a day???
    Anyone have any ideas on anything I can do or what the bloody hell is wrong with it? P!ssed off at this stage about it and wouldn't mind but its a great phone apart from this issue
