Hi there. I am upgrading the groupset on my bike and I am very interested in the Ultegra 6800 which is an 11 speed groupset. Looking forward to getting this although my only concern is whether or not the 11 speed cassette will fit onto my Mavic Askium rear hub. They are the 2013 wheels.

Are there any bike mechanics out there that can let me know if this will be a problem? Thanks, Mark.

All recent Mavic hubs will work with 11 speed. Merely leave out the spacer used with the 10 speed cassette and you are good to go.

I had some 2012 Fulcrums and they were only good for 10 speed, had to get the freehub switched out, 2013 onwards seems to be grand for most wheelsets.
