Hi All, I got lime spread two tonne to the acre today on silage ground. Do I need to wait now before lime goes into the ground before I can put on Classic NK fertiliser on this ground or can I go ahead. The land needed lime and lacking in K. Soil test was done. thanks

AFAIK it's ok to spread now, it's only urea that you can't spread with lime because the urea is acidic and reacts with the lime. CAN has calcium in it anyway whick is the same as lime. Maybe someone else on here knows more.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Once it's not urea, drive on, straight away.

Teagasc say you should wait a week. 6 months for Urea.
