Ryanair checked bags (weight)

I'll be moving over to the UK at the end of the summer. I have the flight booked and I can add in bags at a later date which I intend to.

But it seems as if they will take bags as 20kg + 15kg. I presume they want the weight in two different bags? Or do they? Can I just put 35kg into the one bag and pay for two bags?

What's the best way of moving my stuff over?

You'll need to split weight into 20KG and 15KG

Yep. You need to split it up into two bags. You can't pay for a second bag, unless you actually have a second bag with you. If you put all 35 kg into one bag, you will be charged the excess weight fee. That fee is based on each individual kg that your bag is over the weigh limit. It generally works out at a fair bit more than the fee to check a second bag.
