Foursomes Matchplay

Hi all, its getting to the stage where a lot of clubs are running different in club comps including matchplay, foursomes matchplay, etc and I will be playing a foursomes matchplay event in a week or two and never played one before, so I am wondering can some of ye explain the basic rules or any grey areas there may be?

For example I know A and B alternate tee shots and also to play out the hole.
Am I right in saying, if A hits a poor tee shot and there is doubts as to whether it is okay or OB, then B hits the provisional? Does it matter if it is called "Provisional" or just hit another one, for example if you call provisional, and you subsequently find the original it MUST be played, whereas not calling the second a "Provisional" gives us the option if we want to play original or provisional, (I am aware a penalty stroke will be added for provisional, i.e third off tee).

I am aware of people playing out of turn, the other group can get them to retake shot etc, (Searched for threads here).

Any other tips / advice / rules or things to be familiar and aware of?

    TIA
    Tommo
