Back boiler

    Hi I'm thinking of putting a back boiler in my open fire at home. It's a 3 bed semi detach. It has 7 rads in the house. What kW back boiler will I need. And how do I measure the fire place to know what size boiler I'll need 16 or 18" etc. I'm looking on done deal to buy one and I want to buy the right one. Thanks

    Stove/ boiler is a BETTER option. Way more efficient.

    speaking from experience I would take scudo advice totally inefficient source of heat at best id say 25% efficient

    if my budget allows this summer its a job I have pencilled in to get done and that's remove mine and get a stove fitted

    I removed my back boiler and put in a
    Hunter 14 kW back boiler stove best thing I ever done
