It said on the email when I signed up to email them and ask for a free gift which I did but I never got the gift.

I know! They gave me about 5 or 6 free stays (from friends and helping people online) but no damn slippers!

The free stays just seem cheap now. It was quick thrill but ultimately I feel disappointed. Slippers however, I'd still be using them now.

We all had the chance to get a free mug and t shirt a while back. Got mine, mug is still used.

Did you get charged a "stay" for them?

In your settings there's an option to get free stuff down the bottom btw...I know somebody who was charged to collect the 'free' stuff so I have mine unticked?

I thought they free stay for the gifts was free, did he contact PM about a refund for the charge?

This. I didn't care about the free gift but I wanted to know how the damn thing works. Seeing as I never got the free gift, or a text about it I'm guessing I fupped something up. Therefore, I don't trust ordering to it in case my gear goes missing.

Bought a Hoover off Donedeal from a seller in Cork who posted it to me in Dublin via Parcel Motel, I checked out DPD and Nightline and they quoted €21-23 to courier it, with Parcel Motel the job got done in under 24 hours for €6.50. My only problem was convincing some oul boy in Cork to set up a PM account, print out a label, scan the barcode and post it. He got through it all and sent me a text saying how good it is, I told him about the Belfast trick for UK purchases with lower VAT and usually free delivery, he said he'd definitely be using it again !

Now Parcel Motel, I've won you a new customer, where's my feckin slippers !

Long time customer here. The OH signed up for the free gift and got a pair of slippers, 2 chocolates and a towel.

I haven't used Parcel Motel for quite a while, but did use it maybe 5/6 times in early days. Receive random text this morning from PM, advising parcel ready for collection and, lo and behold, package with slippers, towel and a few chocolates waiting for me. Nice!

When I originally signed up a few days later I received a email asking me to reply to a different email address to claim my free gift.. I didnt ask for a free gift , they offered. . The gift has never arrived..


Im sure if someone was wanting to give you something for free you happily accept

Haven't used PM yet but did sign up on launch.

Got email today about the gift, hopefully the slippers will do someone for a christmas gift.;)

Just signed up with them there and yup got the email. I can't believe I only heard about parcel motel recently! I buy loads of sh*t online and it does cost me a fortune on postage from the UK.
