I bought some headset bearings recently. Delivery was very slow, but the bearings themselves are fine. You have a specified time in which to lodge a complaint if the item does not arrive- I didn't use this feature so no idea if it works.

I've bought twice from
Aliexpress. No problems either time, shipping is slow but then again it is free for most smaller items. I bought bottle cages and a carbon seat post. Both are perfect and excellent quality.

Bought a good bit of winter clothing off them, decent stuff for the price. Very happy with it and would order off them again. Delivery very slow, think it was 4-5 weeks, maybe more.

Have bought a few bits recently clothing, glasses etc so will see what happens in the next few weeks and I suppose its no different from ordering from ebay or other China based companies

Bought few bits of clothing good for price delivery approx 4 weeks

have bought a good few items off them over the last 12 months - delivery time is 35-40 days but they highlight that. if it runners etc i.e. footwear - customs might stop it - but pay the difference and its still good value.

no issue with quality and only one item of 15 ordered did not arrive and i got a full refund on that.

i use the volume of orders on a product to identify the right seller, as an indicator of the quality when ordering

i take the view that most of these brands are produced in that region anyway, so the brand goes out the front door and the aliexpress goes out the back door of the factory


its parent company - i think is alibaba.com - where the founder was (i think) one of the founders of yahoo or one of the major internet companies.
