Not sure if this has done before but ...

I'm new to the HTC ONE MINI and have been away from Android for a while, coming back from an Apple device there are some functions I'm looking for / wondering how to do?

Firstly is if worth having a thread of 'How do I ...?s' ?

So, the things I'm trying to figure out how to do .... if possible
    1. take a screenshot
    2. get on-screen pop ups that stay until you click ok for messages / missed calls
    I'm sure I'll think of more .........:D

Not saying you are wrong, but HTC say slightly differently:

So the 2 options that worked for the screenshots were

Power and Volume .... Down ...... Hold for short while
Power and the home button on the screen

This works on my note3 anyway, and is the handiest way of getting a screen grab I've found yet.

Swype your palm across the screen from left to right. Very easy and works each time.

    Another question ....

Do not disturb...can it be set up from a time until a time ( so it is on every night automatically)?

All I can find is to manually turn it on for x hours every night ..so if you forget, blenty beeps/buzzes during the night :(

Don't know about your particular phone, but you can do it with numerous apps off play store.

The screen shot and silent times are both stock options in cyanogen - a custom ROM. And I'm pretty sure the sticky notification could be achieved with an xposed module. So I'd look into rooting your phone. Nowadays there's very little chance of messing it up.
