I've seen a few posts about hardwareversands less than stellar customer service, recieved a ups delivery from them today. So two boxes, first had component, ps, mobo, gpu etc, second was the case. All looked fine till i pulled out the case and found this. Front panel missing side panel also missing, pain in the ass. Was wondering are they going tomake me send whole case back and delay my build for god knows how long, or will they send missing panels without all that rigmarole? Anyone had any experience with them in a similar situation?

How da fook can they pack up the tower and not notice the panels missing?

I would presume they will just send them to you instead of having to incur the cost of sending the tower back.

I hope so, I could start build if I knew that they were going to send me panels. I'm PC less the last two weeks and amdyin to get it put together.

Would it not have come from the manufacturer like that?

Surely they dont open every case they receive to check for stuff like that. Thats shocking that it could ship like that though:(

Most people advise ringing and trying to get someone in the office that speaks english, they take to long to respond to emails if they respond at all

Might try calling tomorrow, I have german so I might chance it english speaker or no. I really dont want to ship thatcase back.

Did the box the case came in have a seal on, did it look like it was already opened? As one of the guys already said surely it comes in a box they stack it on a shelf and when it's sold it's posted, i don't see any reason for it to be opened before they send it to you unless it's being pre-assembled.

It did kinda look like it had been sellotaped up rather than factory sealed

Was the Corsair box opened though?

yep definitely sellotaped up and not in factory I'd guess

I have the same case, Corsair C70, ordered from amazon and there wasn't any funky sealing, just regular sellotape.

It's a strange one, best bet is to get on the phone to them and try to get them to send on the panels, it would be a major pain waiting another week to build. Before you do, check the price of the same case on amazon maybe, and if there's not much in the difference consider buying from them and just returning the case to Hardwareversand, it might work out quicker for you, just a thought.

Just thought, make sure to check everything else that should be in the csae is in it before ringing, who knows whoever nabbed the panels may have helped themselves to something else as well.

Another probability could be it was a returned item, someone else that was building dedided they did'nt want it after all and sent it back without the panels, hardware opened the top of the box seen a case was actually in there, sellotaped it up and put it on a shelf ready to go out again.

Okay, so maybe, maybe not, a Hardwareversand issue, wouldve thought Corsair hadsome form of basic QC

Could go the amazon route alright, then I can start building sooner, I suppose send back the Amazon case to Hardwareversand sans panels

Did the case have special item marked on it when you bought it?
