Decent beginners bike for <€1000??

    Anyone have any advise for a beginners racing/road bike.

    I'm going to avail of the bike to work scheme while I have the opportunity. I most likely wont devote a huge amount of time to the sport as due to work and other sports I have limited time to spare.

    I'm on the lower tax bracket so I don't want to spend more than 5/6/700e of my own money.

    I was thinking of this bike but really have no clue on cycling so any advise is welcome.

    If you have 1000 to spend, spend 1000. That bike with Tiagra groupset should be about a grand.
