employer let me go 2 weeks into job

    Hello

    I was signed on to jobseekers benefit for 6 weeks as i relocated.

    2 weeks i got offered a job and signed off benefit. Told this mornin that there is no more work for me and that the employer will provide me with a letter stating this (That no work)

    Where does this leave me with social welfare. Will i be able to sign back on to benefit as have this letter?

    You should be able to sign back on straight away. Were you claiming JSA or JSB?

    I was on jobseekers benefit. U think i can sign back on straight away. So embarrased by all this

    Yeah, I'm nearly certain you can just sign back on. Get the letter from your employer first though.

    I'm so sorry to learn about the job. It must be soul-destroying. I'd keep a close eye though as your boss may have let you go in order to employ someone on Jobbridge. That's been known to happen...

    I know but who is let go two weeks into job and just worried about dole office now

    Will welfare want to know if employer brought someone in under job bridge?
    .its so soul destroying :( was a min wage job but i just wanted job

    Yes. If it can be proved you were let go to make way for a JB slave sorry, intern.
