Hi there. I’ve just accepted a place on the ed psych training in Mary I, starting this September. I’m very excited about it, but I was wondering if anyone knows whether trainees are paid employees of NEPS/HSE whilst on placements?

    Thanks for your help!

Just in case anyone else has the same question in the future, I've since found out that trainees on placements with the HSE or NEPS aren't paid employees of either.

Yep, only clinical psychology trainees are funded in Ireland. Occupational, counselling and educational psychology students are not. Best of luck with your studies

Hey DalaiAlma, Im hoping to do that course in Mary I. I have an undergraduate doen and am hoping to get enough experience to get into the course this year. Would you mind letting me know what sort of experience you had when applying? Was it very tough to get in?
